Biotech skincare
Nature, amplified
We use biotechnology to enhance nature’s potential and create cosmetic actives that are more effective, safer, purer, more sustainable, better tolerated, and capable of targeting specific skin mechanisms.
THE INSIGHT
Natural cosmetics have reached their limits.
For 30 years, the same demand has remained: greater efficacy and greater naturality. Skin is becoming more sensitive and fragile, exposed to increasingly strong external aggressors and sometimes unsuitable formulations. Biotechnology in cosmetics is emerging as the answer.

OUR SOLUTION : BIOME-RXCELL™
Enhancing the skin’s natural intelligence
We strengthen the skin’s microbiome, its natural shield. By combining the power of nature with the precision of science, we have developed BIOME-RXCELL™, our patented biotechnological active.
The skin is more resilient, better balanced, and skincare is better tolerated and more effective.
Why this changes everything for your skin.

What is biotechnology in cosmetics?
Using living organisms to create more effective active ingredients.
Plants, cells, microorganisms — we cultivate them under controlled conditions to harness the best that nature has to offer. Without destroying it.
“It’s not about replacing nature. It’s about enhancing it.”
There are several ways to use biotechnology:
- Cell culture
Selected plant cells are cultured in the laboratory to produce active ingredients, thereby reducing the need for plant harvesting.
- Fermentation
Fermentation is used to transform natural substrates into molecules that are more easily absorbed by the skin.
- Encapsulation:
Encapsulation is used to enclose an active ingredient in a microcapsule to protect it, improve its penetration and release it gradually. This makes it more effective and better tolerated.
- Inspired by living organisms:
We draw on the mechanisms of living organisms to design high-performance, reproducible active ingredients.
A disruptive green technology.
At Puréality, we use whole-cell culture techniques to cultivate the adaptogenic Rhodiola plant and encapsulate a prebiotic within it, which is highly effective for the skin’s microbiome.
A French innovation that is unique in the world.
Before / After
Two worlds.
| Classic | Biotech |
|---|---|
| Mass extraction | Clean cell culture |
